Mission Statement

To provide a free forum for high school and college age kids to discuss whatever is on their minds while providing a source for inspiration, support, advice, entertainment, and artistic sharing.

History

This site was created originally as a site for teens to vent about everything from sex to suicide in a completely unrestricted forum environment.  After the suicide of a dear friend, the important of free expression coupled with an environment of support became painfully apparent.

The creator of the site was in high school at the time, and has since moved onto college.  Between partying and women (and classes when there's time), he noticed that the drama of growing up didn't end at high school graduation.  So, along with a couple other college and high school students, the website was totally redone, and the UYV Team was created.

We encourage everyone to make use of this site and aid in its development by taking an active role in the forums and contributing any poetry, prose, stories, and quotes you may have.  If you enjoy hanging out here, tell your friends and help this community grow.

This age is riddled with drama and insecurity.  Talking helps - you may realize you're never alone in your thoughts, feelings, or experiences.  Tell some jokes and have some fun too, Lord Knows there's a hell of a lot that in high school and college.

The ups and downs are what make life worth living, but no one should ever have to live it alone.
